Warning all Excalibur Albs

Dont group with a guy called Starsplah, as this is what he did to my group in keltoi:

We were just leveling killing a few mobs when this level 20 cleric called Starsplash asked if he could join our group. We happily welcomed him as now we could take harder mobs. After killing for a while, i got Dustwalkers boots, an item which i couldve used for one of my alts, but decided to give to starsplash who begged for it really badly. He then demanded that he should get all the dustwalker items from then on, to which i gave the sarcastic reply, that i should get all the vindi armour (with 4 plate wearers in the group). We continued exping and then a mob dropped a vindicator breastplate, which 3 of the plate users in our group needed (i already had one). I suggested that Starsplash should give it to our group leader, him being the guy who got the group together. At first, starsplash just ignored me, then after we had just pulled some mobs he ran out of the dungeon, with the breastplate, leading to the whole groups death. I then did a /send to him and asked him why he hadnt given the vindi armour to one of our armsmen. His reply was that he was saving it for a GUILDMATE (prolly not true, wanted to sell the breastplate if you ask me). Now correct me if im wrong, but the order of importance goes Group, Alt then Guild doesnt it?Well i guess this was just the ultimate in greed then. I then sent another msg saying how mean that was off him, especially after i had given him the Dustwalkers boots, after which he logged off.

I posted this IN PUBLIC (yes i read the Sendoh thread but just couldnt care less about how its unfair naming people in public, we didnt provoke it, hes obviously in the wrong) as i just wanted to warn every Alb of this guy, make sure you dont group with him, and if you do, cus you need a cleric then dont give him any rare drops, as you wont get any you need from him.

Starsplash i hope you will quit the game due to never finding a group. You make me wanna uke:

Yea, of course he shouldnt keep it for his guild - the group ALWAYS comes first - to the one who needs it most - and usually to the highest lvl(if its a highlvl item) -

So, u should have gave him the DW(which u did), and he the plate to one of the tanks

Well..

Group first? I dont see they the person that got the drop cant just decide what he/she wants to do with the item....cos they did get it fairly by auto split. I have been grouped many times with people that kept items they didnt need at all just for the hell of it and no 1 complained. So just stop fuckin cryin Carnak and get over it ffs. for all we know you just chattin bullshit, whiny little immature bastard

In responce to this flaming, i have grouped with this fellow many a time. I grouped with him on Midgard on many occasions leading up to lvl 33.

I then left Midgard and joined Albion, to find he had done the same was a joy, i had someone i could trust at my side. Since being on albion i have grouped with him many times again. He has always...... ALWAYS offered extremely good healing, a good chat (when the pace gets a little slow) and would group with him whenever or wherever he wishes.

So i think there has been a misunderstanding here, you have slandered a good persons name, and have lost the help of one good cleric. Maybe you will look on your actions in the future and see your mistakes.

I have grouped with him on the Salsbury Plains. He is a good group cleric, and is very generous when he gets items he dosnt need, and because of this, and the healing he gives us...if he would get an item he wanted to keep we would let him, because if it wasnt for him i wouldnt be level 25 now! so dont flame a good guy!

Colonial, what a stupid reply you just made there i MUST say.

First of all, auto split does not work. Let me tell you a example.

If there is a group with 7 level 40s and 1 level 41, and you get a drop from a mob that drops only for 41+ and above, guess who gets it? only the levels 41 guy, wich keeps on going like that, and the lower guys wont get many drops. Dont know really, but you must been in only crap groups, most groups i been in share the stuff they get, and give it to the guy that need it most, and thats how it should work i think.

The reason i posted this here is to warn people of what he did, i can give you 6 witnesses if you want. Its an item he will never be able to use and i find it ESPECIALLY unfair that he just took it after i had shared nicely. The group helped him get the item, so thats why items should stay in the group - unless nobody needs em.

All this over a piece of vindicator plate. Find some more/buy some more/or wait a few lvls till you've outlvlled it. It's nothing special, it'll be a memory in the past in just a few lvls.

at drops the one that can use it gets the drop, if more can use it drops go to highest lvl and then his sword/bp/sleeves/whatever goes to the next in lvl and so forth downwards, that way everybody gets new equipment from a drop

if noone in the group that had the drop wants it, the one who got the drop by auto can decide what he wants to do with it (usually goes to guild or alts)

How could you do that? see what kind of a prick it is? It wont even say sorry for being a total b*stard. I dont care about dying, i can get the exp back in no time, but it being such a greedy idiot is what annoyed me (and still does as one guy from my group is now lvl 21 and still looking for a vindi chest - cant afford one )

And starscream, might i say that you prolly wont have owned me on UO, im not gonna show off by saying i had 5 7x GMs cus i cant prove it (and it wouldnt be true, i had one 7x GM mage with with which i would have roXXored u n00b ) - deleted my account.

Actually i didnt have a GM tamer (my mage had GM magery, eval int, resist, meditation, wrestling, hiding and stealth). I never owned a single fruit basket (let alone trade in rares) as my money went into, first, buying a keep, then any leftovers went to friends who really wanted a house, or something. So stop talking trash you (socalled) uberl33t idiot, you prolly had one char that had 89% as the highest skill (prolly swordsmanship) and just want to make yourself feel great by being mean and arrogant towards humans (something you hopefully arent, i didnt think this species had come this far yet).
