I m warlord ml4..and i made this post to find out how the last ability works..the ones that <says on web> raises the level of your friends for dmg calcs...so those of u who have it can expan it abit :) ?

That's the ML9 ability, not the last (ML10) ability.
It basically gives a damage increase to realm mates. I believe it's about 20% increase to damage.
It was also bugged (didn't do anything), but can't remember if it was fixed in 1.68 or 1.69 (my Warlord char is only ML8 atm, so can't check).

Its also on the same re-use timer as the ML10 ability, which sucks.

the whole of stormlord is on the SAME timer, now that sucks.

Thx Pin...got a question for kagato tough // the ML 10 ability ..how it works ..cause u said its on same timer with ML 9 . :)

About to respec my ML8 warlord to Sojouner cause the whole Warlord line sucks imho.

The ability use timers don't last long enough to make any difference and the reuse timer is insane.
I thought the Chance to crit ability would be nice but have found out that it tends to disappear before it completes the full 20sec timer, the other ablilities do little in RvR or PvE where as I could now have FZ, portal, etc which are actually useful.

oops only just saw this sorry, and the ml10 ability is called Warguard or something, which basically is a pbaoe shout (like all Warlord abilities) which absorbs about 25% of damage to all allies in the radius for 30 seconds.

Basically its like a second soldiers barricade but because it doesn't effect AF it ought to actually stack with SB.

However you have to choose between this and the ml9 ability because they are both on the same timer, i.e use ml9 if your fighting a caster group and need the extra damage or ml10 against melee groups for more protection.

Warlord is not really a good choice for minstrels anyway compared to Sojourner with Zephyr, however thats not to say Warlord does not have its benefits. Most of the reuse timers are actually quite low compared to other abilities, 3 minutes - 10minutes for the highest abilities, however its only ml 9 and 10 that are really good abilities.

The chance to critical hit ability only applies to the next swing you make I believe, gives your next attack an extra 30% chance to critical which is why it ends before the timer is up. I could be wrong but thats how I read it.

I find Warlord pretty nice on my mincer tbh

ML 10 ability is bugged atm, no reuse timer :wub:
ML 2 ablity give u 10% hp/end/power
ML 3 ability make mobs/pets run away
ML 6 ability makes u use less end for 2 mins or so

but ML 10 ability will have 10 mins reuse timer in next patch :p then I might (and only might) consider going Sojourner, and the ability to heal realm m8's roxx aswell that have saved my rl m8's when I play with them a few times but cost me IP aswell hehe


but Zephur is uber aswell tho 2 mins reuse timer :drink:

No re-use timer... but it does nothing until next patch also, so :p

Only pets (not mobs) since last patch...

I'm Warlord on my Cleric - what's the point of having 2 Perfectors in a group?

Was about to say the same thing, im kinda annoyed at the cowering bellow change, used to be quite handy running through pve zones with lots of annoying low-con aggro, could just hit it and keep on running.

The ml6 ability though doesn't last 2 minutes, it simply reduces the cost of styles and sprinting by about 20% for about 30 seconds.

Warlord pretty much just has lots of low-key handy things for RvR, nothing uber but alot of little abilities to give you an edge.
