all i see here is warlocks should be nerfed fine if thay that over powered get them nerfed.BUT.
also nerf alb sorces/scouts as all it seams to me is mids finaly get a class that can compeat with albs on an even basses.
no other realm other than alb has a cahr that ahs a 2300 mes range basicly meaning that unless mids or hibs spot them first thay will be mesed and killed i have yet to see a rune master hit any alb with there rm bolts for any where near the damage albs can do with fire wizzards so i supose thay must get nerfed as well to the same damage table as rms are on.
and yes i expect alot of fotmers to roll warlocs i also exspect alot of ppl who belive in realm defence to roll them for tower and keep defence as thay are the only classes that can compeat with scouts/rangers sorces with range so if by giving mids a little of what albs have had for ages demands a nerf then so be it nerf them but also nerf albs to make them lvl with other 2 realms.
(i wounder how meny scouts u see if there range was 1500) or( how meny fire wizards if thay had the same damage as rms)

warlock's design is huge frontload dmg. that's all. after unloading chambers they have to wait long b4 recharging -- or be stuck with 4sec cast spells.

fairly balanced imo....at last mid got strong and unique class like teu or animist.

If the player behind the wheel has ANY competence, he will absolutely destroy everything with little to no risk and he will only stop briefly now and then to rechamber. Artifact Encounters:

I had like 22 dex/pie cap, 200 hits cap, all resits and stats maxed with 9% casting speed and all the goodies on traldor's). My artifact "team" consisted of me, a level 50 2h sword savage in about the worst gear you can imagine, a 49 skald (who eventually got 50 from scroll farming) in crap gear as well, a 50 warlock in lvl 25 SC'ed gear that I used previously on my warlock up untill wilton, and some bots (of course). We did every artifact I have and more... many many times with this group.

Bottom line... powerless spreadheals from 2 warlocks means you can do any artifact and then some with a bit of patience and planning. There's also a bug that allows warlocks to cast spreads imbetween combat rounds of epic/boss mobs while getting hit on (anyone who plays a caster knows there's a phat interrupt before you can cast again... well on epic mobs for a warlock, there's not. You only get intterupted if you get hit WHILE casting). We killed Danos multiple times with just the Savage tanking while the skald kited everything else. We did Malice (VERY EASY), battler, som, tart, AT, CB, DS, CS, gov, zahur... just about anything worth getting, we did with a 4 man crew in shit gear with no ML's what-so-ever... the skald wasn't even 50!@#$!!!!

Farming:

LOL... farming? Farming requires work... with a buffed warlock you can fuQ up grape mobs like you own them. I solo farmed all my scrolls in a few days of button mashing.

Ok... enough of all that PvE crap. That's not even the focus of the game and doesn't make the WL overpowered even though it is a huge and not to mention, integral part of the game1@$!!!"

Does killing in 2/3 secs count as an insta? IF so that pretty much would count for all caster classes, agreed all casters need toning down, its just that the warlock isnt really any more powerful than current caster classes, they just have their damage loaded up front.

Don't you consider other casters silly? Don't you consider scouts popping arrows for 600 silly? or firewizards bolting for 1000 damage then another 600 follow up bolt silly?

I consider all caster damage OTT atm - however the warlock is off the scale.

Really dont understand all the fuss about it. They have a nice frontload and then revert to a third rate class. Good for tower/keep defense and 1 on 1.

Tower defense still has pesky scouts that will hurt the cloth wearing warlocks like crazy. And 1 on 1 is hardly possible for a caster on this server.

Also, take a look at the classes already out there. And the new hib ones. I really dont think the warlock is that out of whack with the rest of them.
