Call me crazy but I swear this used to be 10 ticks but now it's 8


Was this nerfed? Or am I just losing it?

spell duration has an effect on mezz and root 4 sure

Its always been 32 sec dur, 4 sec pulse = 8 ticks.

A: Here’s the answer from our Code Warrior:

“Damage over Time: does not benefit from +duration items
Theurgist pets: do not benefit
Animist turrets: do not benefit
Debuffs: do benefit
Buffs: do benefit

“Basically anything that results in a spell icon being placed on a character that has a duration listed, with the exception of damage over time spells, benefit from duration bonuses.”

They later changed it so that Theurgist and Animist pets do benefit from +duration.
