Lots of vehicle combat going by the vid, if its any kind of representative of the gameplay. *Very* WoW-like graphics but thats not necessarily a bad thing :)

Looks pretty cool though I'm not a massive fan of vehicle combat.
Can't get into another MMO though!

im with vasco on this one. no more will I await an mmo with baited breath.

6 or so years of derivative rubbish with no real innovation. Ive not really enjoyed the full mmo experience since DAOC got its hooks into me. Nothing has got the pve/pvp mix right since then for me.

I'm going to do what I usually do with new MMO's, wait 3-4 months after the release to see if people are still playing or abandoning ship like WAR or Aion.

I'm fairly certain it will be a flop - mostly because they seem to still believe that copying WoW is the only viable tactic but the reality is that there's no point in trying to compete with WoW, it has a 5 year head start. The only way you'll get a bigger share of the pie is to offer something Blizzard doesn't. Which in my opinion would most likely be a good shooter-MMO ala Planetside, or rely heavily on storytelling like TOR, a simple WoW clone won't survive tbh.

Its funny how most MMOs run their lifecycle and fade, yet in the case of WoW (and to a lesser extent Eve) people talk about them having a head start that new MMOs will struggle to catch up with.

Eve really has a niche market tho, nothing else is even vaguely similar.

WoW will certainly go for a good 10+ years yet, look at everquest 1 still 200k+ subscribers today and that was a released 10+ years ago and it had nowhere near the player base WoW has at present which leads me to believe WoW has at least 15-20 year lifespan left as big a claim as that sounds.
