Relic's Warhammer 40k: Dawn of war has finally hit the UK stores today...

In Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War, players are provided the opportunity to command four highly unique races, including Humanity's finest - the Space Marines, the villainous traitors of man - the Chaos Space Marines, the savage beasts - the Orks, or the psychic and technologically advanced alien warriors - the Eldar. With each race it is vital to master their distinct abilities, weapons, and tech tree to eradicate the enemy and rule the known universe.

Eurogamer have a review up and from the reports I have heard, this game is shaping up to be explosive.

Anyone played it? Post your views...

Played the Demo, waiting on the full game from Play.com.. If anyone has yet to buy it then it's worth considering that Play are doing it for a bargain £18 inclusive of delivery.

You may not get it until the middle of next week but at that price who cares :)

Got mine Thursday as well, GAME may not have been as cheap as Play, but I got the thing a day early :)

It is a great game, although anyone who has ever played any other RTS should probably start on the hard difficulty. Normal is just too easy.

Great game. Lots of tactics involved.

Hard, harder and insane gives a good challenge though. Insane is what it says. :p

I went into town today and nowhere had dawn of war, not only that but trying to find the call of duty exp pack, H&D2 exp pack or battlefront was hard enough, how do these stores make any profit if they dont get the stock in...sheesh

New release games are short in stock. We had two copies on the day of release, and another 4 in today -and we only got those based on our sales of the first two.

Its always the same.
