Depends who you're fighting. Unskilled /assist trainees will die like flies if you have PBT, but if they rock at it - PBT sawk 2tm. So kinda ok and kinda bad. Anyway, a few ML's on ze Warden and they're nice for leeching mana

pbt + resist buffs + interrupt when not healing / leet heals if specced correctly (which 99% of wardens on camlann arent)

I think wardens are great in Hibernian groups when your choices are limited but when it comes to the ideal 8 man pvp group from which you can chose all the characters of all the realms - the warden doesnt cut it - to level a warden solo in pvp alone would be quite a challenge id reckon --

But at the end of the day play what ure happy with but i wouldnt consider a warden for any half decent pvp group when i have all those classes to chose from - only an opinion but mine is probably the same as most -

Your best chance is a guild group.

Hard for a Warden to get a random group unless you are rr5+, and have grapple/BG.

Last random group i was offered, i had to take a survey and answer 20-Questions about my spec, ML, RR, Race, Items, SC, RA's etc, etc

now I dont think the warden is usless in pvp but I think that if it comes to solo he is in trouble and if it comes to a group - there are better out there .

warden pwns in 8v8 imho, not like haveing an earth thuerg....where it gets extremely quickly. If you have the guild support for a warden or mebbe some people to help lvl it /on another acc for pl'ing then is not all that bad tbh.

Some people may say their shit....but if a lvl warden asked for RvR they would say what? "lol sry no room for a char that wears scale armour/6sec PBT/and has useful heals/oh and base buffs" yeah who wants one of those in ur grp

I dunno, I do alright when I play I guess.. PBT can be very helpful against the shittier guilds, 24% energy/spirit/body resist isn't bad, heals for 500 (and critting upto a 1000) isn't shabby, mana drain on healers or sapping strike on the assist train is quite handy, grapple can be fun, and once i got ML8 that'd be nice as well... Oh and I hit at least as hard as a mincer or pally I guess.

but a warden has no place in a 'fotm' group

(and they can solo, but theres a lot of classes that will kill them easily )

I'd say I hit for about 120ish on average on scale/chain, 150ish on reinf/studded, 180ish or so on cloth, more on people that arent SCed (think my top hit on a yellow con was 328+160crit+110 sun sword proc + 220 essence flames proc). Keep in mind that I swing at cap speed with Battler (and Malice once I lvl it to 5 on my back), and that with my end redux i can spam the battlemaster styles (bar faultfinder) pretty much continuously with yellow end regen.

My spec is 49 Nurture, 33 Regrowth, 25 Blades, 14 Parry.

you dont see many "l33t" setups here on camlann maybe a couple of savages with some support but it all comes down to what classes you can get.


P.S i have two wardens (lvl 50 and lvl 33 on camlann) so im a bit biased

What Laston means is that he has one lvl 50 on another server (prydwen) and one on camlann, that is lvl 33... Not two Wardens at Camlann.

This thread kinda annoys me. Most zerg groups on Camlann (4th realm, DPP, Les Dragons, In Memoriam etc) run with classes like BD, nightshade and necro lacking healing completely... and yes those were ToA'd 50 PvP groups so IMO it's safe to make a warden here, you get only praises for it.

We're not on excal FFS.
