Warden RA's

Rain of Fire, Ice, Annihilation - is it worth spending points on it?

As far as I understand it, this ability works as a damage add and 10% is quite the whopper. Does it stack with the regular warden damage add?

Oh- and how about Regeneration? Or should I save the point?

As far as regeneration and its end regen twin (Tireless) it depends on what you want to do most of all. For RvR imho they are not worth it as the fights are too short on average to have much benefit.
However in PvE I have Tireless lvl 1 and find i can on average pull off 3-4 more styles in a long fight than without it, and thats saved my skinny elf ass afew times!!!!

Personaly i think you should go for Master of Pain more. With my crafted longsword (made by Lairiodd) and MoP 2 i have "crit proc" against yellow con sometimes 3-4times in a row, with dmg from 30-90. I'm definitely going for MoP 3 or maybe more, as i think this is only way how wardes can do some serious dmg in RvR :)

Also MCL and Serenity is usefull, it's good to have serenity 2 or 3 to not lose mana because of BT.

Master of Parry could be important too, didn't tested it yet.

For serenity you need Acuity 2, for MoPain or MoParry you need aug. dex 2.

About special warden RA - Thornweed field - I will wait for patch 1.52, as they will lower dmg it does, though increasing snare effect.

Rain of Fire/Ice/Anihilation - i think it's too expensive and useless for wardens. If your common dmg in PvE/RvR against yellow con is 100 (yeah, right), then lvl 1 will add 10, lvl 3 will add 30dmg per swing every 15 minutes for 30 secs, while my MoP 2 have chance to do same amount of dmg over time or higher in every fight. MAYBE this is usefull in RvR for bigh 2h tanks, but personaly i think that for fast swing weapons is MoP better.

Other RAs.. I don't know. Maybe ethernal bonds for more HPs, maybe more power and better MCL if you want to heal more, better buffs (think it affects all your buffs including attack speed buff) - depends on your style of play.

Mastery of Arms looks like waste for Warden, but maybe with our attack speed buff spells you can use slowest weapon with very good speed. But it's damm too expensive.

Well that's my point of view, it's based more on PvE that RvR though :)

Thankee for the good info! :)

I think MoP is the way to go... Rain of xyz just sounded impressive - I jump on stuff like that;)

Dont forget Avoidance of magic, fits nicely with wardens res buffs :D
Long Wind is pretty nice as it allows you to sprint forever w/o losing end when using end regen chant.
After getting the 6sec bub you gotta love serenity 2 and mcl too.
TWF aint all that imho, had it before and respecced it away. It's nice with keep defenses or MG battles, but those 14 pts could be better spend somewhere else.

ATM I have Serenity 2, MCL, Mastery of Pain 2, Mastery of Parry 1, Long Wind 1 and Avoidance of Magic 1 plus the prereq.

EDIT: Even with my 9 parry  and Parry1 I parry ALOT, and I mean alot :p

Rain of xxx is basically about as good as a low level damage shield for 30 secs, don't bother. It was giving me 7-15 damage tops per swing.

TWF is good, but moreorless redundant if you run with a Bard, so I specced out of it.

Serenity I also didn't bother with because it makes me even more 1/2 way house. MCL is very good and well worth the 3 points , even if you have 2 regrowth.

I have Mo Pain 2/Arms 1 and Parry 1, ignore pain, longwind and aom plus a few more passives and the pre reqs.

Basically Arms needs aug str 3 which was costly, but I've figured come 1.53 I will be using a 4.1 delay PC sword. Therefore 41% haste with buff plus around 180 quickness druid buffed or higher than 200 with spellcraft boosts, that will be hitting under 2 seconds. 3 more points for level 2 and you have way over 50% haste with high quickness. It's something I'm keeping an eye on, but that extra str is 8% melee damage I hear.

Pain is worth taking to level 3, I had parry at lvl 2 pre respec and it indeed works.

I'm more than likely to spec down to 2 regrowth come 1.52 and basically have as many melee adds in RA as possible. MCL will still be required.

Atm I'm hitting swing cap on 3.1 delay weapons druid buffed.
