WarCraft3>DAoC ??

Got WC3 yerstaday
since i opened box i wasnt login in DAOC ;/
i hope soon ill be back to normal EM skirmishing .. but
just wondering iam alone who liked WC3 so much so even screwed Realm Wars??

WC3 is nice, but cooler then DAoC? Cant really compare since they are both very different games...

As a RTS, WC3 is cool... As a RPG (well kinda ) DAoC is great...

WC3 is just same shit in a more beautiful package as already Dune2 was (and it could actually look a lot better). Anyway, you can't really compare an RTS game with DAoC.
Besides, what you must have gathered yourself from the replies to your other posts, you won't really be missed in DAoC, so try to have fun!

Played WC3 2 weeks ago and was royally disappointed. Nothing new from WC2, 2 new races that don't drastically differ, some silly heroes just bound to unbalance it, less units.

SC/BW owns it by a mile. The singleplayer campaigns are probably fun, the movies and game good looking but it fails in being really interesting for MP.

Warzone 2100

It did quite rock (you could design your own units)

But Total Annihiliation rocked... Is there going to be a 2 for that game?

I bet u play singleplayer campains, they prolly own daoc, however multiplayer will never be good in wc3.

Gentlemen, the name of the game is "Micro-Management"

Heroes won't ruin WC3, they are what makes the game great. The old "build fast and zerg" kind of strategy won't work any more. The good players will be the ones that can manage every singel one of the troops to optimal performance.

Ever play RA2? Now there was a great RTS Everysingel unit had a weakness to another unit, and if you didn't combine forces, well you might as well pack up and go home. (except for allies dolphins, they where mega-broken )

I got WC3 but, its not gonna last me long, I have way to much to do in DAOC, so ill stick around a bit.

GTA3 had a greater potential to drag me away from DAOC, eventhough it didn't have a multiplayer option. I think im glad it didn't

AoE style rts with a Civ advancement system.
Imagine the look on the others guy face, when you nuke him with bombers and he tries to fight you with knights and pikeman

Zerg attacks in WC3 works quite well, cough. The old and tried catapult rush is still effective And really, Dune 2 was great, but it had severe limitations (controlling one unit at a time, no multiplayer). SC is a better game than WC3, though.

Hulbur I know mm, I played alot of sc/bw, and heroes matters too much, if some1 looses his hero early game its crucial and its also a hard punishment to take midgame.

It will be hero-wars, rush the other fellas hero first.

If you lose your hero early it's because you suck ass, no question about it. Losing a hero midgame is somewhat taxing but not a really big deal. Yes, the game is hero based to some degree and of course some people will prefer the old sc/bw style of play, but please, if you haven't played war3 don't post crappy thoughts of how you THINK the game is, cause you're sadly mistaken.

They released TA Kingdoms which was quite cool... same thing again but set in fantasy settings.

Amusing sending a parrot up to scout out the enemy orcs whilst your trebuchet ships lob rocks from 5 screens away.
