I am making a cinematic of the whole wc3 storyline (and possibly the whole saga later), but im in 2 minds about what to do in terms of the format.
In WC3 alot of the story is in game convo, i am capturing this aswell as the bit ciinematics.
Now the question is what to do with the gap between the convo's.
I have decided on 3 approches

1) convo only - this means you will see no combat that is not ai controlled,
but as a result you will get things like
scene 1: huimans are attacking our village
scene 2: nice work on defeating them

with nothing in between

2) Some battle scenes - some human controlled fighting
Very brief scene's
i.e
scene 1: humans are attacking out village
filler: humans attack, fade to orcs killing humans
scene 2: nice work on defeating them

3) Full combat - all fighting, ableit sped up to cut duration
everything with combat scenes sped up for time saving

maybe you should do some fighting your self and focus on the hero saving the scene with some special etc

I like that idea. For example, you're leading some footmen yourself, and just when things are looking bad the hero comes in an epic cinematic to save the day or lead the team or cast the uber spell of dh00m or whatever :p

Two sounds like something I would look at ... 1 would have to many "gaps" and 3 would be way to long/deep for my feeble attention span to last.

lol ^^
its of the storyline for a friend since hes too lazy to do it himself :p, the problem is that alot of the story is in the missions themselves, i was just making a poll to ask what would be easier viewing
i fancied some practice on adobe premiere so 1+1 :)
