Th problem with cracks is that they dont usually work for newer versions of programs. Does anyone know of any FREEWARE stuff?

well, when a newer version come out, either don't get it or if it is vital download the new version, by the end of the evaluation period another crack will be up and so get that

You can get an excellent multi-threaded ftp client called LeechFTP. The last version made of it was 98, but I heard rumours recently that the author is working on a new shiny version. You can get it here: http://stud.fh-heilbronn.de/~jdebis/leechftp/downloads.html
It's an awesome client, unbeatable for broadband warez...*ahem*...file leeching, and is multi-threaded. Oh, and it'll also upload your stuff for you

the standerd text-based ms ftp client doth sucketh verily d00d.
Make sure you get a good version there Xenon m8. I had one a couple of months ago that didn't run well on NT [but might be perfect on the other versions for all I know]

Although older versions had a security hole, you might be able to find a Win32 version of WU-ftpd. Its GPL'd i think.
