RESPEC NOTES

In order to give players the chance to respec at high levels, we've put in the ability to find objects in the world that will grant the player a realm ability or career specialization respec.

Because of their extreme power and high worth, these objects are currently found only on the dragons in each realm's mainland. On their death, Golestandt, Gjalpinulva, and Cuuldurach will now drop fifty Luminescent Stones. Half of these will be Full Career Skill respec stones, half Realm Skill respec stones. These stones can be traded or sold to other players as any other object in the game.

Luminescent stones can then be taken to special new type of NPC (listed below) and turned in to receive the associated Career or Realm respec.

Please note that after performing a respec, all choices made are your responsibility. Here are the respec NPCs, the objects they will take, and their respec abilities:

Camelot:
Ellette Redding - Luminescent Exerpise Stone – Career Skill Respec
Paiton Hazlett - Luminescent Exeregum Stone – Realm Skill Respec

Jordheim:
Tordis - Luminescent Exerpise Stone – Career Skill Respec
Haili - Luminescent Exeregum Stone – Realm Skill Respec

Tir na Nog:
Dywana - Luminescent Exerpise Stone – Career Skill Respec
Bretta - Luminescent Exeregum Stone – Realm Skill Respec

It has been worked out how to kill the mid and alb drag. There is a pretty standard way of killing them.

THe Hib dragon nobody has yet figured out for definate how to stop it from aoe nuking for 5000 a pop.

The common theory is no magic is allowed to be used without the dragons circle. Including procs etc.

But its still to be 100% proven with a lot of well planned raid still resulting in everyone dead due to the drag nuking.


Thats why its a hib nerf

you can do anything you want as long as you dont get aggro from him at a distance (he only casts aoe if he cant reach the guy on top of his aggro list with a melee attack).

If you read the notes, it says they drop 50... 25 Career Skill Respec stones, and 25 RA Skill Respec stones...

And you should only need 100-ish people to kill the dragon!

Roll a new character sounds easier to me

Or, organize dragon-raids every week for guys who wanna respec, takes you on average 4 times to get the respec you want..

Basically, it's cos GOA are pished of telling people they cant respec again their 41 shield-specced paladin after they were too stupid to get it right in the first place

I went to 'the other side' cuz I got entirely too bored with Albion. There was no challenge -port to emain, zerg...port to odins and either solo or zerg...go to our own frontiers and either zerg or be zerged - where as this may be enjoyable for you I found it rather dull and mind numbing.

as for "my pathertic attempts at playing a Sorc" well, all I can say is that when YOU learn to play your char then I suppose you may have a slight resembalance of a right to criticize others.

I find very amussing that a boy who would prefer to ae nuke every group of mezzed hibs/mids instead of letting a CC class do his/her job would even dream of saying ANYTHING about how someone plays their class.

and one more thing: What in the name of all that is holy does how I or anyone for that matter, play their chars have to do with this thread? Is this just yet anohter one of Wildfires posts flamming someone because he has nothing intelligent to say? I think so.
