That reminds me of the time when PS2's were just coming out. I think they were out in Japan, but not the UK. Some dude put up an Ebay auction for "PS2 Box" and people bid loads for it.

The thing is, it was just the box.... The dude had removed the PS2. But if you read his add properly, nowhere did it say that it was anything more than the box in good condition, etc. People just assumed he was flogging the PS2 with it.
