yes i do like teh ban but i think if they let them keep playing but like from scrach there for they not losing cash, and there for can keep making things bette ie servers and stuff cos they not loosing cash

Caught once: 7 day ban and warning
Caught twice: 7 day ban and all RPs removed
Caught 3 times: see ya!

Thats my idea anyway.

so they are allowed to cheat for years. Mythic announces they made a cheat tracing program. Warns the US daoc players about this. US noobs laugh with it, get busted and get 1 day ban? There are ppl banned on US with +2-4mil rps. So few weeks later mythic finds another 500 users. guess what, no perma ban again.

Why? If you cheat you DO know that you are doing something wrong. No pampering. Permaban or insta deletion of all chars on the spot imo!

Account should be deleted end of story. People know they're doing something wrong when they use these kinds of cheats and should be treated as camelot treasonists

The main problem with a 'warning' as it were, is that everyone knows they can get away with it until they get a warning, then they stop. They know they wont get banned so the game is completely fubared most of the time. All a 1337 gank group has to do to keep it going would be to use a single person with radar, wait for them to get warned, then change to someonelse as user. It's bloody ridiculous and their lethargic approach to it up until now has been taking the piss....

caught once should = MONTH BAN ALL RPS STRIPPED

caught twice 3 month ban, characters named and shamed in some part of the captal city, maybe some laughing gallery the characters turned into npc like things, putting them in an ingame prison is too good for them,

caught thrice banned 4 life, name sent to some sort of MMORPG offender register

i actually think it would be a good idea to just strip the player of RPs the 1st time (as a warning) the player can then try and explain why they went from being high RR to having 0 RPs. caught a 2nd time bye bye

Good, people using cheats/bugs/macros to gain advantage deserve a ban.
If u cant play properly and need an unfair advantage to win then get a life.
Big differnce between someone using a wall bug in spin to get home quick and someone standing on a stone where they cant be hit tho.

I'm pretty sure you didn't ban the animist who was caught on macro exping @ fins spot. There was even a thread about it showing he only got a warning for it.
