this is the first day I've been outside since I got my latest fscking cold. am I careful? do I chill?

It was perfect weather, I picked up my mtb from the bikeshop and buggered off to the hills. then I had an uber hot curry with a good mate of mine, who will be going off to Gambia tomorrow with an equally good ladyfriend of mine. It was only madras stylee lamb but it was HOT. gawd!. anyhoo, after that we went down the pub with another mate of ours and had a couple pints. then we had some more pints. Then we sort of took part in a pub quiz heh.that was fun. then I totally fell for an english[!] babe. um won't comment on that any further heh. Then I helped some bloke up who had had one too many and had fallen over. Then we had some more pints. Life is good

Ive got a cold and its pissing me off, right at a time when I cant take any sick leave. Gonna go home and make my wife run around after me, cos I'm an awful patient.

Wife "Do you want anything to eat ?"

Me under duvet "No..... well maybe some tomato soup,,,, and some toast,,,, and a cup of tea with biscuits" hehe, see how long her patience lasts after shes ran up and down stairs every 5 mins.
