wacom tablets

hmmm thinking about getting a refurbished wacom intuos2 usb pen tablet. I do an alright amount of graphic design and would be nice for video editing. Are these tablets worth the money? Would a 6x8 be large enough? and is the 6x8 worth $279.99(US) . I dont know I picked up a kbgear pablo pad for 40 bucks 2 years ago just cuz the price and just wanted one to play with. But I dont get good results with that at all so thought id pay for a good one. Thanks

If you do enough graphical work to make it worthwhile then yes, the Wacom is definitely worthwhile. I've not used another tablet that comes close to how superb they are to use. The 6 by 8 is a lot bigger than it sounds and will be big enough for most applications. The smaller size actually makes it slightly easier in some ways especially when doing large virtual pieces of work.
