Yes it is THE mod!!!!!!!

Basically, you start in a map, each map has up to 4 different arenas, in which you fight either as an individual or as a team. 1v1, 2v2 etc with winning team staying on.

There is also a clan arena map in each map which is basically like team deathmatch except when u die you become a spectator until the round is over.

Its great practice for vanilla quake, cos when you start you have all the weaps, full ammo etc.

BW have great servers as do jolt.

Wait for 1.5 and download. You will not be disappointed.
