Just suddenly got nostalgic, thats all. Shockwave has Rampage in there too. Its like Christmas, only with bulkier graphics.

*nostalgic sigh*

I'm trying to find games to entertain me until something new and wonderful comes out. I'm all looking forward to SWG, but thats not for ages yet :( I'm trying to get Discworld on e-bay, but it seems like everyone wants to bid far more than I do, so I lose. Strange that. I've just decided I'm convinced that if I tried it now suddenly I'm far cleverer than I was before, and I'll be able to defeat it. Last time I tried it had me nearly crying with frustration. Nothing has changed, apart from the fact that I'm repressing how shit I was at it.

I've played Broken Sword II, and I quite liked that. And Indiana Jones and the blah of Atlantis, or something. I want something else in this genre to amuse me. Any ideas?

I played quake 2 last night, it was surprisingly fun.

I really really want to play sam and max, but it doesn't work in 2k ://

If you liked BS2, try the first one(Broken sword). It's not quite as rounded as the sequal, and some of the puzzels are a bit illogical, however the plot is fantastic, and there's alot of gaming there. Oh, and the characters in it are far better than in the sequal.

I've played Discworld Noir, however it totally lost me about half way through. I liked the humour though, and i try to speak like Lutton(or however his name is spelt) as much as possible :D

Ahhhhh Discworld, does the phrase "that doesn't work" bring back any memories.

That game was uber, mega stupid hard tbh.

I'll send you Discworld 2 if you promise to never ever let the DOAC tards back in here.

PMed you Scooba, ta :)

How far did you get Tremor? Did you complete it? (If you did, I 'll hate you with a passion). I got into the second chapter, then I bled from the ears and eyes simultaneously, and got so annoyed that I lent it to a friend, who subsequently lost the game. I need closure!

Sure I'll do swaps with you Cama, but doubt very much I have anything you'd want to swap with. I'm a bit minimilist with the games. I only own Broken Sword II. You could/probably should sell it on e-bay for £20. The only things I have for trade are Masters of the Universe album 1986, a Billy Connolly double LP, or Mr T - the cartoon on vhs.

Last time I downloaded the game I played it for hours, and then finally when night time loomed I tried to save the game and found I couldn't. And that hurt. I threw the lot in the recycle bin, and wiped away my tears. So I fear downloading it and the same happening again.

Did you actually complete the game Cama? Ok, OK, Xane?

Nah no where near, I got to a bit where you needed a butterfly net, and to get one of these you had to turn a snake into a cane then magically and impossibly turn/find something into a net, I mean ffs only the makers would know those things:eek:

Truly honestly its Cama, but we have to humour him every now and then and call him Xane.

I'm downloading Discworld now, but if I doesn't save just like the last one didn't then I will go on a murderous rampage. I *need* a new game. I've tried entertaining myself through arts and crafts, and it didn't work. I tried to make myself a picture frame, and Kenny fell to the floor laughing at it, then my brother laughed at it, then Kenny ripped it apart to show me how shit it was :( He succeded. I spent ages sawing it too. When I say ripped, I mean more that he just touched it, but in a malicious point proving way.

ooohhhh. the old classics. I'd kill for a copy of the newer discworld. Discworld 1/2 rocked my world :p had maps and everything up around the computer.

ah. the days of caustic remarks when you tried solving stuff.

pity the end of discworld 2 was so damned easy!

bladder, water, broomstick. AWAY!!!!!!!

I'm overloaded with games at the moment - Mechwarrior 4 Mercenaries, Age of Mythology, Starfleet Command 3 and Morrowind Tribunal :)

Not sure if any of those would appeal to you Damini, you've tried Morrowind haven't you? All I can say about that is first time I tried it I hated it but once I gave it some time I got hooked :) Oh and Age Of Mythology is great fun online - 2v2 and 3v3 team games are hilarious, if a little hectic.

I tried morrowmind, couldn't get to grips with it. I just got horribly lost and I never found the lighthouse, and it pissed me off intensely.

I liked how the water looked though.

Time to send the game back, Damini...

And it's DAoC, sport - not DOAC.
(I am serious btw)
