pro gaming might be lame, but i see nothing wrong with playing a game at a tournament and then going home with more cash then most make in 6 months....
heck, i'd love 2 get payed for games =/
I wouldn't, it'd make me a pro-gamer (your entire post is contradictory, by the by) and pro-gaming is a wholly pointless affair, we don't need (and nor do I want) games celebs.
Hmm I'd say you can either play it or not play it the choice is yours.
If you're good enough to make money playing a game, and you WANT TO then why not?
If you dont want to,why should you tell other people they shouldnt either?
I very much doubt if anyone could make a living at playing CS or whatever - though I may be wrong- but good luck to you if thats what you want.
Ten years ago I decided I wanted to work with motorbikes, my "dream job" I suppose, and now here I am earning a proper living in a job i enjoy.I'd certainly say it was worth giving it a go
I reckon in five years gaming will be professional.
Sad innit...
/me jumps of bridge.
(ps. Thoddy had a look at your KEA clan webby... dang you got a lot of members Buffy says you get us ADSL for free and we'll play Quake 3 and CS for you. Plus we WILL rub your feet and tummy for a small fee on the side.)
i meant that having the opportunity to make some money at a comp or so on would be good. If u dont want to then fine but their aint nothing sad about entering a comp to win summin if u play online or whatever.
doing it for a living is a whole different matter and wasnt my point at all.
yeah i do think that thats the way it will go in the future too though.
