Volley?

[Basic_X]

- Rangers, Hunters, and Scouts will now be granted the Volley realm ability at 35 bow specialization. The ability will upgrade to Volley II at 40 bow specialization, Volley III at 45 bow specialization, and Volley IV at 50 bow specialization.

volley 1 resuse timer is 2mins, volley 5 is 15 secs

Sorry Squal, its actually the amount of arrows fired now. The reuse timer is a base 15 sec.

volley 1-3 arrows
volley 2-4 arrows
volley 3-5 arrows
volley 4-6 arrows

afaik perma ts is already getting nerfed in range... Not sure though, can't always belive what you read on VN boards

Check the range they want it to be aswell. Today's Volley is actually useful in more things then just keepdefence but if this goes live Volley will be so utter nerfed I'll prolly retire my hunter.

Range today is around 4000 units and some 5000 units if u got the elevation on your target.

Range as Mythic wants it: 2300 units = No use other then keepdefence.

So they once again will kick all archers in the butt and make em useless IMO.

Guess this is to take attention off the fact that volley is actually gonna be nerfed in distance and in terms of where you can actually volley - no more volleying into amg room or lord room etc as it will have to be in open ground.

Still, its a welcome change because as it stands volley is very rp expensive for what it is.

Yeah i guess it may be a harder thing for a ranger, as you are more melle oretaited (sp?) so your points are well spent in other places i guess?.

with scouts theres not much else we can put it into

Anyway with the advent of frontiers speccing 50 bow does gain you more advantages like best volley, and i do like doing 100% damage through pbt to hit your nice and juicy bards
