Well:

bolt time gettins reduced to 2.5 sec cast time = capped cast time now

plus they arent based on 100% armor/resist any more

so basically they are gettin better

might be ok leveling one now actually, always be glad to see more voideys..

also lvl 50 spells fx = ownage

nah klav, you can still QC stun if you miss a bolt, I mostly soloed my way from 5-40 as a void eldie and never had any problems with it, however light spec was way more better and fun

Well, tbh i think they need some more void/light elds, its sad to know most of the time chanters and that get asked is "u got focus shield m8" ive been told by a few that the only 2 classes that have a remote chance of leveling now is a chanter and a healer of some sort, just focus shield fins, wahey gg :sleeping:

What's the technic then? I'm level 6 and having trouble with yellows. Is it stick with blues until the next level stun actually makes a difference?

The first 15 levels of XPing any caster except chanters sucks, once you hit 15 you have some decent int behind you so nukes do more, and spells seem to get resisted a lot less.

i was void all the way up to 50 and have to say its an excellent PvE spec,got pissed off with it in rvr tho but thats being changed now.

as for PvE it gets easier and easier to solo the higher u go up in lvls,

ive killed orange cons one hit b4 and taken down purple cons without too much difficulty.

its definitely a great spec to start an eld on maybe to keep depending on how this update goes,light is a really fun spec for rvr tho for sure and ya can change over at 40.

I've got an ikkle void eld over on hib/exc and damn is he fun just in BG0 now, but I might try to level him properly.. blowing stuff up is great
