As a rule of thumb, if it doesn't make any sense, delete it. If you aren't expecting it, delete it.

And if the persons name looks like he mashed the keyboard, delete it.

Why would you possibly want to download it even if it wasn't a virus ?

There was a virus going about (not sure if this is the same one but sounds very similar) that says it is from admin, and hijacks the domain name so it would appear to be admin@barrysworld.com or whatever, and that virus says that the e-mail address is about to expire, and you need to click on this html file to auto renew, and the virus was embedded in the htm file. Or something similar. I have childbrain when it comes to computers, so I might have twisted this infomation about.

I read the BBC website too much :(

On a related note, I was websurfing earlier on, and saw something trying to download onto my PC. I couldn't work out how to stop the download, and so I just turned my PC off rather hastily.

Now Easydates_gb is sat next to my clock :(

YOUR MODEM WILL DIAL THE PREMIUM RATE TELEPHONE NUMBER 09099671006 BILLED £1.50/MIN WHICH MAY APPEAR ON THE TELEPHONE BILL.

MAY appear on the telephone bill?!? Surely surrounded by flashing red lights and a demand for you to remortgage your house to pay this months BT.

I think these auto installs are damned rude.
