My copy arrived this morning.

Can I just say that I deem this to be an *essential* game for Cube owners.

Plays like any other horizontal scrolling beat-em-up but does it with style, great control over Joe. brilliant graphics/sound/presentation and the best use of bullet time in a game ever!

I like the looks of this one a lot but i fear itll be rather shallow but i guess as long as its good fun it matters not

I've been playing the demo on that preview disc loads. The game just makes me laugh the way things just happen randomly. I have trouble pulling off combos though. I just keep hitting the same button all the time. Are there any button combos you know?

Yep. Basically Kick/Punch combos - but the use of the slo-mo is where it's at. The moves whilst in slo-mo are just so fun - you can string combos together like other Capcom games). It's defiinitely not a random affair.


Oh, it's also rock hard !!

yes u are right this is a good game to get i dont have it my friend does and it is great

had this game a while on import, one of few games i play on regular basis. i just hope VJ-2 well be just as good

A bit simple IMHO.

Latest shooter I have is Shigami No Shiro 2 on GC. Weird but excellent.

Bought it yesterday.

Not bad. Nice to get back to the good old days of side scrolling action. It reminds me a lot of Ghouls and Ghosts and it was very easy to get used to the controls. Well worth the money.

Ok, how do I beat the damn helicoptor. I'm getting very annoyed as I have to get past two mini bosses before I can even get back to trying to defeat this damn helo.

I can take him down a bit by standing on the heli and bashing the blades mount.

Is there any technique to the defeat?
