Well finally we get Hd movies to download. Not sure about the costing, 14 days rental for 300 is 540 credits for the Hd version. Anyone know how much that is in real money?

That equals £4.59.

Stuff like The Matrix HD is 380 points though which is £3.23 which isn't to bad I suppose but I'll stick with my LoveFilm subscription, if there was a way to keep them on your HD though now that would be different :)

Some of the rarer TV stuff is worth a go but I am not paying £4 for a mini-HD film rental, they are just taking the piss.

Ah I didnt think this was rental! The prices are still comparable to blockbuster and watching on Sky are they not?

I too didn't realise it was a 14 day rental. Cheers for letting me know before I wasted any money.

You have 14 days to watch it, but only 24hrs after you press play.

Zodiac is a good film.

Well actually it is not, the are simply mimicking the on demand services available via sky and virgin in this country. The costs are reasonable if you look at the costs of those services.

300 In HD For Only 120 MS Points!

For 24 hours starting midnight 28 December, anyone with a broadband connection and Xbox LIVE membership (Silver or Gold) can take advantage of this terrific limited offer. “300”, critically acclaimed as the “Citizen Kane” of cinematic graphic novels, can be yours to rent in HD for the bargain price of 120 MS Points. Why? Because the Xbox LIVE Marketplace Video Store is now open for business, and you really must experience it for yourself to know fantastic it is.

I already have it on Blu-ray so I'm not bothered but anyone thinking of getting it wait and anyone who already payed to watch it at full price be pissed off :)

I rented Executive Desicion last night i don't think 250 ms points is bad for 24 hours usually what you get with blockbusters.

I can see myself using it when i'm bored and need a film to download only took around 30mins aswell.

My copy of 300 for my HD DVD player was a little scratch and would actually lock up on the 360s HD DVD player. I've just got the Blade Runner HD DVD box set through the post and one of the discs had come loose. Long story short, it seems that the latest update for the HD DVD player I downloaded, now handles scratched discs a lot better. 300 now plays with only a few minor jumps, no freezes. Was forced to skip a whole chapter last time :(

Get a disc clinic thing. They are good for minor scrathes. Or see if you can find a GAME or HMV that has a proper disc sander in it that you can talk someone into letting you use.
