After I had my house broken into last week I am thinking about getting a vid camera pointing out onto my driveway so I can help the Police catch these wankers once and for all.

So the question is:

Do any of you know which video cameras that are decent but not too expensive and can see in the dark? :) night vision/infrared etc...

Or atleast point me in the right direction...

I dont want to go down the road of CCTV coz thats really expensive

ok so tbh they probably wont come back but if you really want to consider smething like this then how about a cam thats hooked up to the light sensors that way you dont need night vision its someone moves, bam lights camera action.

youll probably end up with loads of footage of startled foxes lol

Remember to update yourself on the laws of camera surveilence (sp?). Would suck to get another breakin, catching it on tape and then have the evidence renderd useless because you filmed to much of a public street or some other stupid thing.
We have very stong laws on public surveilence here in Sweden, and you need a permit and proper signs and stuff, not sure how strong the laws in England is though.
