Is it multi player only? Wouldn't mind sailing around blowing stuff up but not really into playing with others atm

single player, has campaign allies only, axis is "coming soon"

Tis good fun, not SIM level though, more Battlestations Midway than Fighting Steel

OK, so I got hold of this.. but I must be doing something wrong...

When I try to set formations... I still only get to control one ship.. and the other ships that I told to join formation (like "line" for example)... just wander off and do there own thing and don't stay in formation...

if you box around some ships, do a "set formation" it will have a circle around the one u got targetted, becomes the lead ship, they should follow it

HOWEVER, some ships will break for reasons. they tweaked the Destroyers to leave formation to engage Submarines in their locale, for example.

Yeah, that's what I was doing. I box two destroyers... set line formation, then order a move...

The lead ship (the one with the number next to it) does what I tell it... the other destroyer just wanders off and attacks the nearest enemy destroyer... no subs around.

I take it I am doing something wrong?

havent used destroyers since i requested the "detach for sub" change, i use battleships and carriers so not sure. basically as long as they are grouped should be ok -click the one that isnt doing what its told, untick the AI CONTROL box on left and see if it behaves

OK, manage to get them to sort of stay in formation now... however I still cant seem to get them to all fire weapons at same time at same enemy. I am using the "alt - Rclick" to fire all weapons but only the lead ship seems to fire.. the others fire whenever they want at whatever they want... ideas?
