Hi guys,

I am thinking of speccing my tic "50 flex 50 enhance 23 shield 17 rejuv".
Would this be a viable spec in ur opinion?

Thanks.

Martin

Viable, but really only for grouping. It the spec of my tic and in groups it is very nice... but solo my old spec was better.

If you solo alot and want a chance of winning fights i found the best spec was

50enh, 42rej, 34crush, rest shield. Worked well in groups too as could melee or use second tier uninteruptable which had nice dmg

if you go low rejuv to begin with go really low rejuv instead, the lvl 6 insta snare is castable on the run, while all the higher lvl ones arent.

I tend to disagree.

I find that 50 Enhance, 50 Flex, 23 Shield allows me to solo extremely effectively. Leviathan and Paralyse are my main weapons and they serve me well.

The vast majority of fights i get are against assassins, for that i have no need of rejuv past the basics and i win often 1v1 fights except versus very high RR stealthers who play well (of course, most fights get added on, but you can't do much about that).

Rejuv may be useful for tower humping, zerg fights or bridge stand-offs, but i do not consider this to be soloing. Also I hear players when they talk about a melletic saying "Why not roll a Reaver" ... well, the Heretics self-buffs are the main reason and we dont all have buffbots :p Plus the melletic has more versatility than a reaver.

In short, imo, 50/50/23/17 is a very strong solo spec for a heretic with the right template.

Just my opinion ofc, spec to suit your style of play, Heretic is one class where there is NO "best" spec (there are a few howlers however :)), never let anyone tell you differently.

A decent play will rip the shit out of you and stop you using the run through to get paralize/levi off... ok there not many people that can do that well but it is the good players i want to beat... so against them flex aint to great as it rare to get the 3/4chain reactionaries off (even using engage) due to duel wield halfing engage and the 50%evade rate of an assasin.

Sure against any others you can hold your own and win but how often is there a solo non stealth melee person on pryd?
