Very strange bug 30/06/03

Oh man this was strange, my squad was pushing on to Iva (Ceryshen? i forget) and i was sniping the base when i spot a TR in the courtyard, HAHA thinks I!!

So i shoot her, she doesnt move, so i shoot her again and she dies.

Then another TR appeas in her place......strange i think but what the hell....so i kill him, then another, then another, then the origional person reappears in the same spot. Killed about 6 this way until we were given the order to push for the CC.

So im wandering around the wall just after the hack and happen to look into the courtyard, what do i see, a TR standing there motionless and no other NC appear to have seen her, so i shoot and kill her.......then she repops in the same place and i get a /tell from her asking how i was able to kill her, so i stop killing her.

We had a long conversation, and it transpires that she was actually in Sina CC on the other side of the map and was wondering how i kept killing her.

Very strange bug and i think i have been on the receiving end of this twice (old post), if this happens to you, relog, that fixed it for her.

TBH i coulda farmed her for ages, but im just too nice

I had the same bug, with a NC guy stood outside a tower. No one could see him except me (i asked my squadies to come see) and he never actually died just stayed there but i could kill him and he would die wherever he really was on the island.

He acused me of cheating at first but after a sensible discussion we both relogged and it cleared itself.

I think he was a bit miffed that he was in a base held by his empire surrounded by friendlies and he kept dropping down dead.

Had an odd bug last week where a terran who was nowhere near us was killing a few people who approached the same terminal in a friendly tower.
Switched DL on, ran all over the place, stealthed all over the tower looking for someone but nothing. On the way downstairs I ran too fast so went to the terminal to grab a health kit, got killed by the same said terran.

Just sent them a tell recommending relog then avoided that tower from that moment onwards

Yep, I saw a bug like this yesterday. There was a TR infil stood motionless near the vehicle term - if you shot or stabbed him he became slightly visible but couldn't be shot. Extra funny thing was if you shot (or stabbed) and area on the other side of the term you would get the same effect. Bizarre.
