Vampire spell resists in RvR

Vampire questions

1 Anyone any experience of how often the level 30 Shadow Mastery snare spell is resisted in RvR (weighing up whether 47 SM is worth going for which is when you get the second and red snare)?

2 Also, if not dementia specced is it worth going higher than 43 pierce (for high style bonus follow up) other than weaponskill and maybe diamond back follow ups (if high VE)?

The snare really aint that great, imo. It's nice for preventing stealthers from kiteing you but that's about it. I find it kinda hard to use in group rvr, i'd rather just end drain the person running away and hope he won't be able to keep his/her end up.
As for high SM, i don't know if it's worth it, the snare don't get resisted that often, but it's really annoying when it does Another downside with high SM is that you use alot of utility and you're gonna drain mana really fast.

Affraid I can't help you about the dem question, since i don't got any experience with it. Hope that i will be able to get my fingers on two respec stones some day and try out a VE/dem spec for some nice group utility

About specing higher pierce, i can't see why. Unless you want abit more weapon skill. I wouldn't spec above 43 just so i could get the diamond back chain, since it's a evade reactionary, and you won't always have evade buff up. And besides, the growth bonus on feint -> whatever is just too good, so i would rather get off a diamond back, then go for the feint -> xxx since that will be doing alot more dmg then dragonspider anyway.
