[Manisch Depressiv]

Not sure I will ever farm this but here you go:

Template is ment for a (solo) Dementia Warlord Vamp (45 Pierce, 48 Dementia). It has no worked in casting speed/spell damage bonus as it's really hard to get it in and the way I see it for now I'll use the cold claw for finishing off people only.

It has no SoM, but:

- 10% omni heal charge from cloak,
- 350 ablative charge from necklace,
- 10% melee resist charge from ring,
- Dragonslayer Tunic/Dragon Boots with nice procs, Maddening Scalar proc, 3 other omni procced pieces and an omni procced shield,
- Spear of Kings for 5% more AF and hits and 50% style reduction proc,
- ML10 belt charge for additional interrupt.

Very solid template, nice resists should do some nice dmg aswell with that melee dmg / speed and capped out dex / str

Dementia spec is nice solo tbh, Melee resists, buff shear, magical strike etc etc

Really nice solo if you know what your doing



But as you said whould take alot of plats and some effort too get that template, but if you spend those hours / days / weeks fixing this template up you will preform really well in RvR once your done

Also Soul Glimmer seems to be the best weapon if you don't want to swap or go LW. The yanks are saying the proc rate is fantastic and you don't run out of power.

Also if you are talking about ablatives, SoM is still the best ingame. Its a 200 delve 100% ablative where as every other ablative is only 50%.

I want to try out the 50% style reduction thingy and have higher AF/hits as I assume that hard hitting meleers will be hardest to fight. 5% more AF ist actually quite nice on a leather wearer.

As I see it, killing would be rather: debuff their +skills, shear them a bit, debuff their armor, debuff effectiviness, hit debuffed armor with called pierce styles (head/torso/leg) while you have additional melee/magic reist buffs running. So you do good damage on debuffed armor while they hit you for little.

I assume it takes longer than with a VE or mixed spec, but I like longer fights .

really nice template. with this one you can have over 3k hp at cl10 as a luri vamp with no augs hp or con and it really doesnt has any flaws.

regarding sok i avoided it as hell when i played my vamp cause the aura and the pulse vamp spells bugs each other, dont know if is still valid tho.

and yes... for a vamp the omnidrains are really op.

Yes, I know, cheers for the hint. I got Hib alts on Limors in Perfect Recovery, but I think I stopped to play DAoC for good now. My US accounts are still running for 2 weeks or so, but I am hooked with Richard Garriot's (the guy behind Ultima (Online) Tabula Rasa, the game is launching in ~ 1.5 weeks.

Nice template on my dem vamp i am running soul glimmer, however its classic so no SoK/LGW.

Have you considered running 33VE 29 pierce instead btw? if solo, i found that the evade buff (allowing for the 5 sec stun), fumble debuff and stealth lore were very nice. Also its difficult to land a vamperic feint+ called shot on a shield tank. The low level called shots are quite decent too This is all easymode classic ofc tho

edit: might also want to think about using a crafted chest piece with an omni proc on it. Omnis return about 20% power which on a vamp will often win you a fight.

In order to get dragon drops u need to farm the dragon and in order to farm the dragon u need to have certain number of people/classes to do it. I wonder how possible this will be in 2 months time when current population aint exceeding 60 total or something ridiculus like that. On the other hand Soul Glimmer with a population of 2k every night on classic it stills costs around 150p ( at least ) to get one. And u can find say 2-3 on ME, thats because of the ridiculus amounts of DR happening every day. How many soul glimmers u think there will drop assuming that u can do 1 dragon raid per day ( and thats pretty generous ) on dyvet ;p
