unless they changed it the Proc on roundhouse is crush damage so SP wouldn't affect it anyway

It is crush dmg, but as it's a 'spell' it is still affected by spellpierce and spell damage.

TOAs are based on the origin of the damage (melee or spell) rather than the resist type.
