too much dex not needed.

Looks like a solo temp (no eoy) to me and in that case the +shield and high dex is not a bad idea (chance to land slam is based on shield ws and obviously you will block more also).

Quickness is abit low imo though, and melee speed not capped either - valk dps is quite dependant on the procdmg so swingspeed should be a priority - also, bladeshadow is a nice weap but solo I think a lgm spirit weap (next patch when procdmg gets spiritbased) would be better (slower also, making qui/meleehaste even more important).

Ml7 large shield is 3.8 spd - which is relatively fast for a large shield, but still too slow imo - there are other very nice dropped shields around 3 spd mark you could consider (lotm will add a few also), like brimstone shield from df princess.

In any case, its a nice and easy temp as you said

Change Wh, too high matter-spirit-energy resist, need more PP and more bonuses.

But is good and cheap for solo valk.

spirit proccs off valk styles wont been seen on eu servers for a few months.. would be tempted to change to lgd spirit then... couple nice shields swords drop in lab that give debuff to armour same as battler.....could the same temp be also coppied and used by a thane ?... lower dex/qui maybe for piety ?

well, most thrust users use legendaries, and if they dont, they usually dont hit me very hard tbh, i have no problems beating thrust users, only time i do is vs a high rr infil when im ooe and have poisonspike on me while im oop too and when a legendary has debuffed me too, you could just SC thrust instead of some spirit if you want to though
