read down, you are thinking "oh no scythe is 2h slash", then keep reading for all the buffs, and you will start to think "oh this seems pretty kewl" then read the style list, you are now thinking "wow"

But well... they always have that 10 min buff which will go off when u fighting somebody and then u get smacked down like a regular caster

No good stun style, lvl 50 style worthless... well at least they´ve got some ok spells...

Actually I tnk animalist as more tactician and more interesting to play.

Oh and heat & cold based dmg sux, try look at reaver´s 50 style with 139 cold proc (compared with 98 heat proc in hib)

Nah the styles certenly don't sux, they just require more skills to use, cause it's powerful parry and evade chains that are the main once. And with evade 4, high qui/dex and parry as one main skill, I will consider it pretty good. Can be pretty confusing short-bar though
