valewalker spec and lvl help?

Im thinking about starting a valevalker /lvl 30 etc

What spec would you all recommend?

And where should i go xp from 30+

And what a bout Vw in rvr i know they dont have det, but how do they performe dmg wise?

Celt or Sylvan. 10 str, dex, con. 50 Scythe, 38 arb and 20 parry (0 points left with that spec, and u get what spells u need, and hit like a truck with that farmer tool. Or so i heard atleast)

U will have no, or VERY little downtime as a valewalker. Lifetap, DoT, fight (wait for evade/parry and use reactionals), loot, 1 or 2 dds, Dot, fight... 1 or 2 dds... ah, u get it
Try to get mcl in caledonia. Goes rather fast, and saves alot of time, especially if u solo without bb (as i do). Solo is unfortunately the way for a valewalker, unless u can pl yourself, or u know one who can do it for u.

My tip is to stay at the deamhan aeirs (lvl 33-34+) as long as u can. They are very weak to the dds. And hitting them is like cutting butter a warm summer day. Nice loot as well for that matter.

Items: Spellcrafted or quest items/better drops, thats a MUST for the VW. Expect tough fights vs blues/yellows with the /level-items. They are worse than crap. So get better stuff asap.

RvR: My vw is just 37, so the only rvr experience i had really is caledonia. But from what i heard, vws are /assist:ers. Their positionals are kinda nasty. Also, they can keep healers/nukers busy pretty well with their both instas and the lt. (if u are awake)

Oh, theres a nice 100% scythe reward at lvl 31. I Still use it at 37 (kinda need a new one now tho, but works great to like 35 imo)

About the solo guide:

1) 35-38: Can do rocots in DF

2) 37-39: tumblers, cniocrag and ixthiar's just past the bridge from AF

1: We hardly ever have df. If we do, we hold it for an hour. Then we loose it. 30 mins later the place is filled with w@nker stealthers, killing everything, just for a single realm point. My advice would be to go to Coruscating mines instead. There are a few nice spawns there.

2: Unless your first name is He-man and your last is Rambo, stay out of that area. Its filled with highcon aggro shiat. Irewood Greenbarks near Dun Ailinne might be better. They also drop cloth armor and gives a hell of an exp. thanks to the outpost and all.

VWs suffer from the problem all hybrids have in rvr, no det
but imo it isn't such a huge problem in hib since in any decent group there is 2x GroupPurge and you will always have SinglePurge

dunno how their dmg is compared to heroes and bms, but they shouldnt be left out just because they dont have det
