got a letter in the mail yesterday, it said that i've been found guilty in drinking of alcoholic substances in a public place, outside the boundaries where this is legal.
ok, this was seven years ago and i've almost forgot the incident tho i remember telling the cop that fined me that i refused the fine, and didnt pick it up when he handed it to me, so he put it back in his pocket and i recieved it in the mail a few days later.
funny thing is that i had actually moved away from mom's house and officially changed adress and yet they didnt manage to put the right adress on the letter so i returned to sender typing "wrong adress" on the envelope.
After almost a year repeating this i remember i got a letter saying "you are hereby called in for prison duty" with no date when i actually had to meet etc.
and this time they actually got the adress right, so why they didnt finally send me the fine is beyond me, as i never oficially recieved any fines in _my_ mailbox.
yesterday the letter finally came after seven years telling me where and when to meet and for how long i had to be a jailbird
i am to sit in jail for 1 day (wether this means 24 hours or 12 hours i don't really know)
the letter says meet at bla bla jail at 28.10.04 10.00 (in the morning)
and you are to serve the penalty of 1 day.
and following up with a list of items i am supposed to have with me, among those 5 packets of tobacco or equal amount of cigarettes, work clothes, afternoon clothes and fishing equipment (?!)
oh well, after the experiense ill share it with you, unless i get assraped cos then i probably jump off a bridge afterwards cos i intend to stay a virgin there
so it took 7 years to send 1 guy to prison for 1 day.... i just have to say ROFL!
