Not quite - he's doing a successful job*. Semantics maybe, but an important distinction if you're a movie snob such as myself. Oh and if games aren't the basis of a good film (which in the vast majority of cases, they aren't) then really people shouldn't make films out of them. Or at least, they shouldn't make shit films out of them and then bitch when people say they're shit.

I kind of liked House of the Dead and I have Alone in the Dak to watch still. Then again, I tend to like really, really badly made films that make me laugh. One of my favorites is still Jesus Christ - Vampire Hunter
