So anyone else watching this? Just finished episode two and loving it.

What is so special about the comics?

Also didn't see the Becky twist...
Wilson Wilson is just fucking brilliant :)

Really good first couple of episodes!

Wilson Wilson is funny as fuck :D Great character. Love the conspiracy theories. "It's not Afghan is it?" :p

It is a really stupid reason but the guy with the pointlessly over the top breathing fucked me off to the point I had to stop watching mid way through the first episode.

I like the fact that a few of the shots seem very comic book style. For example when Jessica Hyde blows up the car and walks off (very far shot). I'm sure I've seen that shot in a comic.

I also think that the heavy breathing when Jessica kills The Tramp is a bit like the fat killer guy. Not sure why they're linking them like that.

Watched the first couple, love Wilson Wilson but found the rest to be so-so. That Welsh bird is getting on my tits so I hope they kill her off early.

You aren't paying attention if you have to ask what is so special about the comics! They've covered who wrote them and what information is supposedly in them already.

Another great episode but fucking hell, the violence in this one went a bit too far imo.

Really?! Not sure how you can say that? What was bad about it? Nothing's touched the
torture scene or the neck stabbing
from the first episode. Was it just because
some of it was towards children, even though it was off-screen?

Edit - I should have said the killing rather than the violence.

Yeah I think so Wazz. It's not the torture/gore that bothers me. It's the way the guy just kills with no emotion at all that I found really chilling. I thought the scene at the end where he kills the girls mum right in front of her was a bit rough. She said something like "please don't kill my mum" which got me.

The whole point of that school slaughter was to show whatshisname's human side. It's just he's so psychotic that you can't do that with a butterfly getting killed, you have to kill a bunch of innocent kids. It's comic book logic, afterall.

Totally, it was a great episode for exploring his character a bit more. Sounds like he was part of the genetic experiments, which cause him to understand the world as a normal person, but not to have any connections to it. He was able to kill everyone without any remorse, apart from the child that reminded him of himself.

Not sure why he asked Hyde "Where is Jessica Hyde?" when leaving her. Was it a kind of default safety reaction? Is she Jessica Hyde afterall? Interesting.

siblings?

Quite possibly, they did hint towards that when he was questioning his boss as it were. Neither apparently knew any parents. Could be related, could just have been in the same program together. Thinking about it more Hyde is definitely detached from the world and isn't shocked by anything the 'normals' are, it seems she's been trying to copy/mimic/learn some of the normal human behaviours when trying to get Grant on her side...

Cracking all the way until the end.

Looks like a new series then? Spotted the other week when they pimped the pre-order that is says Series One on the cover. Can only hope it keeps the same high standards.

Yeah I spotted that this week.

A very twisty ending. I wonder, if there is indeed an additional series, how many of the same characters will be in it.

Excellent series, wonderful premise, thoroughly enjoyed it. Watched last 2 episodes back to back this evening and was not disappointed. Relatively few logic holes for something with so many twists.

Wish they'd wound it up properly tbh. Fed up of never ending stories.

Yep, some things should be left as single series programs. Half the time they end up dragging out and turning boring.
