UT player model limit help?

Does anyone here have a problem (or a solution) with UT not recognizing any of their player models past a limited amount (not problems with specific models, but with too many in general)?

i have all the patches, ut runs fine (as far as i can tell it runs exactly as 4.36 with all the patches and fixes is supposed to).

and as long as i have a reasonably low number of player models (i havent counted, but i'd guess 32), i have no problem using any of them.

but since ive downloaded a b*ttload of them, it seems to be unable to list all of them at once. Only once i remove some from the system folder and restart do others become visible.

the bots in their config were even more limited but i now use xbots, which has a greater cap than the default bot config, but is still capped at the same level as the player config.

i cant seem to find anything about this documented, but i cant imagine im the only one to run into this problem.

if anyone knows of any mods, utilities, or even portions of the configuration files which would be of use, i would greatly appreciate it, thanx

haha

hey again sonny,

you know thats the kinda statement a flame war gets started over (jk ;-) ). Nah but anyway, i just got xbots v .56 so at the very least i can select from 128 models through xbots, tho im limited to 64 in player select. and im gonna look through that script trying to see how jason managed to do that.

so peace fool

(and id still appreciate it if someones already solved the problem themselves, otherwise im just gonna start a project now that i know it at least *is* possible to access all my models within the unreal engine).
