UT Patch v435 - Latest EPIC internal patch

For all you freaks starving for the latest UT patchs. Grab the latest Epic (beta) internal patch, v435 @ http://home.wanadoo.nl/bkbertje/Downloads/UTPatch435.exe

Version 435 is completely network compatible with all previous public releases of UT (versions 400, 402, 405b, 413, 420, 425, 428, and 432).

- fixed joystick button handling code (thanks Chris Carollo).
- hack fix for bad playerstart in CTF-Coret.
- fixed crash for servers with more than 255 characters worth of server packages.
- fixed problems with single player ladder than cropped up in 432.
- Server now report to clients whether or not they are password protected.
- Fixed incompatibility in ChallengeHUD that caused problem for some mods.
- In the editor, the "TextureLock" option should work 100% now.
- Fixed the editor crash that some people were getting when docking a browser and getting a crash when trying to restart the editor.
- Rewrote "UEditorEngine:olySelectMatchingBrush" because SHIFT+B was crashing at random times in the editor. Should be stable now.
- Brush clipping was merging faces on the resulting brush in the editor.
- May have fixed the random "WinMain/message pump" crash in the editor.
- Pre-432 spectators not allowed to join 435 servers (because of incompatibility).

Been testing it for two days, had no problem with it. After patching, UT doesn't needs UT cd to run

- messes up skins in teamgames for many users.

I know of five ppl, besides myself that have problems with the playerskins being multi-coloured on 4.35 servers. And the betapatch havent been out long. Try it for yourselves on Wireplay for example.

tbh i wish you wouldn't post such things.

these patches are internal betas for the purpose of testing, and as said already can do more damage that good. why bother posting them when the official version is going to be out pretty soon anyway?

hmmm.. Did i force anyone to dload it and patch UT? Did i forgot to mention that it is a BETA version?

Haven't you used any kind of beta software? Did they force you to install it? Or did you install that just for take a look at it?

I'll continue to post here the latest patches. I'll just include some "legal" crap, such as, "DOWNLOAD THIS CRAP AT YOUR OWN RISK. INSTALLING THIS CAN CAUSE FIRE TO YOUR HOUSE AND BURN YOUR FAMILY".

Guess I'm clear if I state this. oh, shove it...

Are you trying to compare the patches of CS to the ones of UT? As far as I know, a new patch of CS equals more bugs, cheats, etc... Instead, the new patches of UT really improve the game... and don't include new cheats, imo

And nobody is forced to run with the latest patch. U can happily play vanilla UT on a 400 client across the world.

Right, they can run ut v400 with no problems at all in servers patched with v435. Altough, patching would be a wise decision

i just stated that the quality of the UT patches are far bettter than the ones of CS (most of them end up introducing new cheats, etc)
