USR Modem Strings

Lo,
I got a USR 56 Fax/Voice modem yesterday after taking backed my buggered Pace, however i used to use an init string with my pace, to keep PL to a minimum and generally a lower more stable ping. What init strings do other ppl use with USRs on the net? and whats the best one

For WP and Cable and Wireless, the two gaming ISPs I use, I don't put any init strings in. However, I make sure error control is off and software compression is on in the DUN properties.

I occasionally switch off v90 to just use x2, which can get a more stable connect on some phonelines. The string for this is ATS32=66.

However, with v90 I get sub-120 pings to WP servers using Wireplay Direct, and similar pings to BW servers using Cable and Wireless. All time record ping is 88ms, with sub-100 common on empty servers if I stand still. (heh)
