Right then...
I have Logitech iFeel mouseman etc etc. On this mouse there is a lovely thumb button.

I would like to have the camera pan around with the mouse motions when i press this button.

I have tried just about everything in the options menu but havent got it to work.
Anyone have any good suggestions? :)

What I did was bind that specific mouse button to a keyboard key in the driver setup and then assign that key to camera pan in daoc.

That or external software could work i guess.
Some mouse software allows you to bind buttons to keys and or do simple macro like things like series of key presses.

Something like press mouse 5 = §+turn left key, can be a tad annoying to get it back to correct angle forward view again though.

in 1.69 we get a nice command that can be programmed like this:

You can now save your default camera position to your own setting. Place your camera where you want it to be, and type "/setcamera". To erase your custom settings, use "/resetcamera". Once you set a new camera position with /setcamera, you can move your camera back to that position by pressing the 'Reset Camera' key. This setting is saved on a per-character basis.

thus pressing the mouse button for "pan" then pressing reset and u instantly are looking forward again, very nifty indeed.

would be cool if u could set several angles like /resetcamera 1 /resetcamera 2, and have one insta look behind and one insta look forward button again.

I set camara toggle to right mouse button, you still can use it as normal too. Have small thumb button mapped to /stick and big thumb button mapped to auto attack.

I myself actually have 9 and 0 bound to my mouse buttons for easy access to everything on my QB.
