I can't get one of usb ports on my usb(2) attachement to my m/b to work ie it won't detect anything.

And I can't use my old usb connector of my kt7a because the missing pin is the wrong way round

Any ideas, the bois setting is usb all enabled?

or am I stuck with 3 usb ports, can't get a usb keyboard now

If it knackered you could get a 4 way hub (£12 at comp fairs) that would then give you 6 ports effectively.

I only had it plugged it in with half of the pins in,

was determined it fix it because it made no sense only 1 would work and not the other, it's not easy to see what you're doing with the m/b in the case, i finally clicked when I felt the pins underneath the plug.
