Well I got my USB Saturn Pad today from Hong Kong and plugged it into my PS3.

Works fine on the menus !!!1 Looking good.

SF4 hasn't been released yet though. But it is Thursday, they MUST have released SSF2HD this week.

Ah, nope. Fuck Sony Europe

OK - I'll dig out my PS2 copy of SF Alpha Anthology.

*much fiddling and googling*

...

AAAARGH - USB pads don't work on PS2 games on PS3s

Frustration indeed.

Anyways - it feels OK. Not as good as my real Saturn pads but it's probably just not broken in yet. Can't really tell how responsive it is as I could only test it on Tekken 5: DR and I'm not expert enough to notice small differences on Tekken.

I'll let you know more when I get the chance to play a SF/KoF game on it...

(might try MAME with it...)

You want to convert a DC arcade stick for PS3 if it hasn't already been done. Mmmm, non-tacky sticks.

I'll be buying a stick for SF4 when it's getting released. Can't wait :) With all this SF talk going around, we need a SF thread soonish.

I always found the DC arcade stick too loose for SF. I played all my DC SF/KoF on ASCII Fighting pads.

I had SFA3 on Jap DC AND Jap Saturn but the Saturn pad swayed it so I always played Saturn version :)

:]

Never really got the whole 2d fighting thing. Always found it clunky and awkward, and not a lot of fun.
