USB Hard Disk Loader Question (for v12 ps2)

OK I have just seen this.

as I have a slimline ps2 I was considering buying it. what I would like to know is whether or not it will let me load import games to the HD and play them without a mod chip.

Any theories appreciated.


/edit Judging from what the "other people bought" I suspect not. You never know though.

well considering the slimline ps2 has no other way of attaching a hard drive.

Even if you got the games on HDD you won't be able to boot them if they are import surely?

From what I understand. You still need to mod/exploit the ps2 to get the hdd started. Even when you do get the games loading from the USB HDD, not all games work and those that do offer horrendous loading times.
