US copy on euro servers?

I have an unused/unopened copy of CoH, bought in the US.
Can I use it on the euro servers?

1. EU hasn't even started yet (still in beta)
2. There's nothing made yet to convert a US account into an EU account.

Before the other day, Cryptics stand was...

1) You can't play on US servers with an EU key or vice versa. We are taking the incredibly dumb DAoC approach to the EU launch.
2) We hope to offer the chance to transfer chars over if they are currently on US servers.

Now it is...

Not quite...

1. As per here. If you are playing on the US servers, we are currently working on a solution to ensure you will not have to buy City of Heroes again if you want to begin playing on the European servers.
2. As per here. Just as in the US, at this time City of Heroes does not offer the ability to transfer characters from one server to another, or characters from one account to another account. This includes US-European server character transfers.

I'm not sure where you got the idea they were following the DAoC model, the above has been the case for a number of weeks now.
