The mad mushroom is indeed fun. I know he drops some bard drop but slightly off-topic anyone know what the Octopus in World's End (often on the river near Krrcrk with his little babies) drops?

Nothing.

I have pulled these lots of times, one of two things happens:-

a). Octopus just vansihes when near death.

b). Octopus dies and leaves a few coins, or an octonoid tenticle (kill task item).

afaik mario doesnt drop (or at least isnt supposed to) being a quest thingy.
