Right first off you'll need to create the site on BarrysWorld:

http://www.barrysworld.com/Membership/User/UserLogonForm.asp?URL=/Hosting/Reg/HostingRegTabForm.asp

Enter your Username/Password and then follow the onscreen instrustions. It can take up to 15 minutes to activate the site and you'll receive an email with the details about Username/Password etc.

Second thing required is an FTP client:

http://download.com.com/3150-2160-0.html?tag=dir

I personally use Flashfxp, my guide is for this program although can be used as a general guide to other clients.

1. Start up the application
2. Go to Sites Menu
3. Then click on Site Manager from drop down
4. Click on New Site
5. Enter Name of the site (Can be anything you want, although might as well match it to the one you entered while creating the site)
6. In Site Address enter hosted.barrysworld.net (Make sure its .net not .com)
7. Username is the same one you use to logon to BarrysWorld
8. Password is the one you entered during site creation earlier
9. Click Apply
10. Click Connect

Once connected you'll see some basic directories already located inside your site, you should use the images directory for storing images and various other directories for doing more complex things.

You should already be able to see a index.shtml, this file is the default page displayed, so should you go to my site - www.embattle.barrysworld.net - it automatically loads the index.shtml and as you can see I've not done any thing with my site.

If you want to provide a link on something from you site you'll need to enter the URL depending on what type of address you selected during the intial Hosting setup, I selected www.mysite.barrysworld.net so mine would actually be www.embattle.barrysworld.net.

Images can be linked by

www.embattle.barrysworld.net/images/scum.jpg this only applies should I upload a scum.jpg image into the images directory.
