Basically at the moment I have 3 computers set up at home on the network network my athlon XP2000 (specs unimportant), a p200 64mb RM machine my dad uses and my other machine...

Yamaha something soundcard
and a TNT 16mb GFX card
running XP pro
Now I was arsing around with a mate playing Quake, Quake 3 and Half-Life over the network the other day and while the 450 is
playable with these games I wanted to get a cheap FPS... boost... Now I really don't have much money at all to spend on this... as my dad uses this one mainly and I only tend to use it if I have a couple of mates round or something and being a 6th form student most of what little money I have goes on important things like booze, petrol, car insurance...
So I was wandering about squeezing a few more FPS out of this baby by upgrading the GFX card:
I was wondering if anyone had a GF2 or something similar lying around that they wouldn't mind parting with for say £20 or so
(Like I said I really don't have much to spend here)..
The other thing I was wondering about upgrading was the CPU on this machine now the motherboard says it will take upto an 800mhtz processor and I was wandering if I'd be able to find one on the cheap (as I don't want to change the MOBO on it) I have my doubts as I haven't been able to find a Slot1 p3 anywhere and just because it's old and out of date doesn't necessarily mean it will come cheap....
Have you got any ideas where I could find an 800mhtz Slot1 pIII ? I know it's a long shot.... thanks for your help
