Ok for all you people who know how computers work. hope you can help me. I posted a while ago about my computer crashing everytime i try to play a game of any kind. Well it doesnt crash to desktop now it reboots the system.
now on to my questions.
the 2 fans i have the chasis fan is running at about 2500rpm. whereas the motherboard fan is running around 5000rpm. Is the chasis fan running ok or is it running slow. Could heat be the problem that is causing the system reboot by overheating of the processor or something else?
could it just be a new graphics card is needed.

more info i have. i can surf the net and run office etc for as long as i want. reboot seems to happen when i push the processor ie for gaming even got it to reboot running my anti virus program.

Can anyone shed any light? does anyone even understand me.

i hate computers. all i want to do is :twak: it.

Turn off automatic restart for a start :) (Google "turn off automatic restart") for instructions on this.

Then see what the blue screen says. Also, post system specs.

Almost certainly PSU (90%+ chance).

. Rebooting with no error is typical of failing or insufficient PSU
. Will happen mainly in games where your gfx card actually needs some power, but maybe not in desktop.

Wouldnt rule out drivers, but im betting your PSU isnt doing its job, check you got 350W+ ,many PCs come with 300s or economy ones that last a year or so...

If you have a very old gfx card (like a GForce MMX) then a newer graphics card that takes more weight off the CPU would help.

.

Of course I wouldnt rule out video card drivers, as they can cause reboots when in games due bugs. Check your up to date there..
