What would be nice if it was 1.62 ohh yeah but the thing is how are we going to know,
1. When the server is going to be backup?
2. Will we get to play at all this year?
3. Will this happen again cause im sick of this crap?
4. What can they do to stop this crap?

I had my heart set on 1.62 when i saw the D/L patch my heart actualy skipped,
So maybe it is 1.62 but there is some problems installing it or whatever they do..

Im playing right now, so it's not a patch update. I guess it's the login server again...

it could have just been a router that went nuts, but didnt do a traceroute nor went to goa's site, so I cant check wether it was some router near goa messing up or one off goa's server going down

seems DAOC is up and running again. can log in again, no patch problems anymore.

xcpt you have to do some changes in your update.dat file, you are trying to log onto the US daoc atm

there are a couple of threads in this section which will tell you how to do it

change your update.dat file in SI folder to these settings:

193.252.123.21:1280/updates/english/isles/mpatch.dat
